Healing Hands Offering

open_spaceI've been practicing the MOE material for a while now and one of the first things that I noticed is that I was also getting more vibrant and healthier as a result, as the lectures promised.
With that in mind I thought it was a great win-win-win. The consultant wins, my initiator wins, and I win; so I am opening this space to discuss and share your experiences with me and others should you be willing. This can be as a kind of follow up for the condition you are asking spiritual healing for, to tweak some aspects of it and to share ways you or I have found useful when undergoing spiritual healing of the Essene kind and as a research project to see how different people with different stories and bodies respond to spiritual energy.
That said, there is something that I need to change given the amount of people and the effort required for the operation. If you are part of the list I will keep you for 21 days and after that there will be a hold until an update is given. This is not only for convenience --I have found out that spiritual healing works much better if there is any form of action on both sides and keeping the conversation is a way to keep the engagement up and actually, the more you do, the more you will bring down the energy into a more defined form.

Unless it is something very specific or painful, say going through an infection or cold or a broken bone I have found that "Whatever X needs the most right now" works better. Many times it ends up being what the person was asking through a different route that was the cause of the issue but some others relieving pain is more important that solving what you need the most right. For example, my dad being very anxious and the way spiritual energy manifests is him allowing himself a break with a beer!

It depends on what your request is about. If it is about general healing, then keeping up or adding a magical or energetic practice; or doing an exercise routine. So basically anything that would contribute to your well being. Preferably in the deep breathing, healthy eating kind of things.
If it is something specific then taking some concrete action towards it.

Date: 2023-12-01 04:40 am (UTC)As a rookie Healing Hands person myself, I very much like your idea to send energy for that which X most needs now. Very cool. The Divine knows best. And, I also like your insight on the benefits of some sort of engagement between healer/healee/some sort of activity to "ground" the energy, if you will.
I am pretty low-key on the amount of time I am up to devoting to Healing Hands. At this point, five family members and one or two people from Quin's prayer list are about the edge of what I can commit to most days.
Kudos to you for pushing it further. It's great you benefit from doing this, but I'd be delighted to attempt to send "Please bless Open Space with what he most needs" or wording of your choice.

Exactly, the action is meant to ground the energy and not just leave it hanging there in the spiritual level. I think it works very well and I suspect the more engagement the more you bring it down, eventually getting down into the physical body. It was my experience that I was sending energy and it just felt like knocking on a locked door and it felt like a waste.

Date: 2023-12-01 08:40 pm (UTC)I wonder: JMG emphasizes the importance of consent in prayer. Do you think this could be, at least in part, to make the prayer itself more effective? Along the lines of your helpful comment about engagement between the person praying and the person receiving?
I'm thinking if a person has requested prayer, they are engaged. If they have not, maybe they aren't.

Date: 2023-12-01 10:09 pm (UTC)Have you ever been told some unasked advice about yourself and then flinched from it, especially if it's accurate? Or perhaps even keep doing it just because someone was rude about it? I think consent bypasses the perceived threat of change and makes it slightly easier. Change, after all can feel like death, because we identify with that which we presently are. If you don't give it, it gets ripped out of you instead of being let go.
Of course also there the question of effectiveness, if they haven't given consent, you also have to override their will with yours and that takes a lot of work and makes the person less capable of dealing with their stuff, because you've made their will weaker (and then you have to deal with the blowback of that, which might make you gullible. I think that's part of why a lot of Christians are like that and need to be told what to do, and have to have a lot of rules for it).

Date: 2023-12-03 03:50 am (UTC)Well, that never happened, but what DID happen was that even now as an old lady of 64, I don't warm up to that side of the family. Likely with good cause. They feel manipulative. I'm polite on the rare occasions our paths cross, but that's pretty much it.

Date: 2023-12-23 04:47 am (UTC)I'm thinking that your Healing Hands practice may well have tipped the balance. It seems to me we had the help we needed to step into what is for us a totally unfamiliar world. And what did we find over the past two weeks? An indoor shooting range nearby, ready and friendly help, the last two Glock 44 newbie-friendly pistols in the store, and a willingness to continue to step into our fear. It all has a choreographed "yep, time to do this thing" feel to it. Why this, and why is it time? I've no idea. But it feels oddly right.

Thanks for the update and I hope you and Trevor keep having a good time with it. This really does help me see how Healing Hands work. It's funny how sometimes what we need the most is to step outside our boundaries and grow and become stronger from it!
Healing hands update
Date: 2023-12-01 06:18 am (UTC)Thank you for providing healing hands for me. I have noticed subtle shifts in my habits and mindset, but had a huge breakthrough last night and today in my marriage. Basically waking up to the fact that I have put it on auto-pilot for the last few years due to caretaking and grief, and that I want a strong marriage to continue with my husband, not a lukewarm one. Not at all what I was expecting to happen! I really though that my greatest need would be my health. Thanks again, and I will send updates as things change.

Date: 2023-12-03 04:19 am (UTC)Thank you. I ask because the lessons say that the healing energy stops flowing when you sleep. When I read that I found it odd, so I thought John Gilbert might've added that to say "it lasts about 24 hours".
The day before you commented, I performed the session at night, so your experience seems to suggest it also works, in an interesting way.
