Update: Thank you everyone that showed up for the first entry of Tarot Tuesday! As far as I can tell, it was a success, I received 4 more queries than I expected to receive, that is I was expecting no one to come in the reading room. I learned much from reading your cards and I am grateful for putting your trust on what amounts more or less to a complete stranger. The results of the lessons I learned and guidance on how to approach a reading will be made into an essay before next Tarot Tuesday, the last week of the every month starting on Tuesdays. If anyone is interested on that, stay tuned!

I've been studying and practicing the Tarot for about 2 years now and having cast a few spreads for friends who found it helpful I thought I might make a deal with anyone that happens to read this.

Here is the deal, I will repost this on the last Tuesday of every month and will try to answer your query before the end of the month. Post a comment below requesting for a reading within the week of posting, depending on the number of comments and the situation I can either offer a lengthy reading or a three card reading. What I request back from you is some feedback about your situation and in case of some outcome what I got right and what I got wrong.

So, if you have a situation where you want to know what the Astral Light is up to, be it personal, general or on a broader scale, or want to know what the week or month ahead has in store for you, why then, you know what to do. I would encourage you to post it publicly below, as for others to get an idea of what I have to offer, to encourage discussion and what divination is about in general but if your situation is delicate post a comment marked NOT FOR POSTING explaining your situation and I'll consider it on a case by case basis.

That said, divination is like weather forecasting not a tablet of truth handed down from above, so take the advice I give you through the cards as such. Any unfortunate situation you get yourself into is entirely the responsibility of the querent!

You are most welcome and thanks for providing the details! That is exactly what I look for in these divination offerings, both of us reading the cards and you participating and providing the details makes it much richer and meaningful. I have a few clarifications and comments to add below.

The first time I did one I was astonished too. As far as I can tell there is no difference except that I can’t have a conversation with the person live but through writing seems to work just fine and that way people can refer back to the reading interpretation. That can be helpful as some of the important points of a reading are sometimes unconscious behavior and thus easily ignored and forgotten. Now to the reading.

Regarding the 7 of Swords, though it is true that a focused will is key in achieving anything, to me this card and The Moon are not talking exactly about a specific venture but rather a stage in your life overall, somewhat like a season. Whether music has a place in this new season depends entirely up tp you, it might not take center stage anymore or maybe it those, the important thing is that you embrace the changing tides and accommodate your life accordingly. It might be true that the 7 of Swords is halfway here and there (see how he had to leave two swords behind and he is fumbling with the rest though thinks he has gotten away with it?) but the general theme is trickiness and in this case trying to run away from seeing and accepting that one of the seasons is getting over with though he clearly knows it as he is starring that way, you might be trying to take something that belongs to the time that has already passed (See how the tents are on the side of the Moon and the man is trying to get all that he can take from them?). Take those two interpretations into consideration, not letting go and as well not recognizing and not focusing on the waning season, what it means the most to you, perhaps both, is what matters.

Pertaining the Wheel of Fortune, again, don’t see it as something specific but rather that the force of change is now here, overall. The coming of Spring affects the whole landscape, not just a section. It is an overreaching change. The wheel is turning and it has an impact in your situation. It might very well be that your magical practices have started to force you to face your unresolved issues, that is what the beginning stages of magic usually look like.

The help from the past can come as well in different shapes, it is general as well perhaps it doesn’t involve a person at all but what you mention, the only specific thing that I see on the reading is the outcome, more on that below, the rest seem to have that general quality to it. What you mention about magic been an interest of the past makes a great deal of sense in the spread definitely pay attention to it and reconnect with it be it with the order or with your own studies.

One of the things I was not sure what it meant in the begging is that the Page of Pentacles is in particular a student of Magic per the pentagram on the coins that he holds and it also connects neatly with your previous interest in the occult so definitely make it a focus point on where this change is leading you.

When I said that no action is needed for this to resolve it doesn’t mean that you don’t have to do anything and remain idle, but rather it means that you don’t have to look for the winds that will carry you, the situation is already here, just setup the sails correctly and it will take you there. Action is needed, it is just that it is more of like and internal action rather than an external its more about organizing things and making them in sync rather than looking somewhere else, if that makes sense.

I really like this spread too! It puts in perspective yourself and the situation in a compact manner, something the Tarot is really good at.
