Thank you, Andrew. For your thoughtful reply and for your generous contribution! The more I know about the situation the more I can fine tune the meaning of the cards from a general trend to something more useful in your particular situation so this helps a great deal.
Yes, it does change things in the details but not in the general thrust of the reading. I will reply in more detail but for now I can tell that the first column looses a little bit of the fire in the king and the Seven of Pentancles now makes sense, instead of going in the opposite direction as I had mentioned.
It is not adventure that you are seeking either in the strict sense of that word, it is you just looking to expand your horizons now that you've had a strong change in your emotional life. You wanting to get to do things again or "resume" other aspects of your life is the Seven of Pentancles, Reversed but even though you want to do it, you don't "feel" it, perhaps it's a distraction.
The Tower, Reversed now makes more sense too. If I may give some advice, don't distract yourself from the swirl of emotions that emanate from a breakup and not only emotions, anything that comes out of that. To heal a wound you have to attend to it right? Otherwise it gets infected. See if you can allow yourself to feel those emotions fully and do not repress any, even if you think feeling those is wrong or inappropriate for you to feel or think. This is important in things like this because emotions are like a live missile, it is already on so the best you can do is to look at it while it's firing, otherwise you might end up blowing up your own camp! Journaling is a great way to deal with this as to let any repressed or unvoiced aspect of yourself speak, instead of playing behind the scenes in your subconscious.
