Rejoice! Well I am rejoicing, for I've recovered some of my peace of mind from the past nightmarish six months. So I am opening another one of this and this time I'll be doing it a bit differently. In the past it has taken me quite a while to get back to you with your readings and I noticed, and my oracle suggested too, that I should reply faster in order for the connection to remain fresher, and also... it's nicer of me. So, here we go again.

If you have a question, I'll be happy to use geomancy or the tarot about it. That said, divination is like weather forecasting not a tablet of truth handed down from above, so take the advice I give you through the reading as such. The conditions that divination taps into are also in constant flux, the same as atmospheric pressure and the Moon so do not take the readings as something written in adamantium or what have you. One of the sources of misunderstanding in divination is to overblow things because an "oracle" and all seeing eye said. There might be some intense readings, but by and large, given that most of us have ordinary lives, the readings have an ordinary tone. So keep that in mind, basically the tone of a readings matches, quite exactly in fact, the tone of the situation. So, say, the card Death doesn't mean the same in a situation about turning in a project as in another about a bedridden patient!

My Tarot thinks you've not given this a lot of thought and you are acting out of perhaps an energy of the collective to get a good chance out of the situation. It suggests that you should approach the situation with more calm and try to connect to your ideals and values and see from there.

Whether or not it is a good idea, I can't tell you, but Geomancy says that, if you decide to sell, it would go through, but that you might regret it since you are not approaching the situation with clarity and that you might be influenced by something or someone else besides your own will, so to speak.

Is this idea of selling your house coming from someone in your family?

The situation seems a little extreme to me, and changing rapidly but you are making it more extreme than what it is needed.

This change the you need or that you are looking for, your guides suggest that you need to put things into perspective and see what the good things in your situation are also so that you've got a better chance of making the best of the situation, but it seems to me that the outcome of your change would be overly positive.

I'm moving across the country, from one coast to another, so I guess it is extreme. I want to live in a better-managed state with a lot of countryside and small towns.

Stay In Job/Taxes

Hi Open Space. I currently owe Revenue Canada $1800 due to my employer not deducting enough off of my paycheques last year. I guess I was a little bit cavalier and self-deceptive in not looking over my paystubs carefully, but then again I've never been subject to an error of this magnitude. On some level I wanted to just stay in my job because it had potential to improve and because I feel I should stay in this field until at least my 38th year.

Currently I've been able to make my agreed upon monthly payments and then some, but I'm living quite poor and not able to save at all. The problem is, my job just hired *another* guy, who will also work on Thursday, apparently full-time, not on-call, which would be far less threatening. So going forward, unless this guy leaves or the business grows, I'll be making less on Thursdays than I do now, or than I otherwise would. The company I work for is moronically managed and is a vanity project for money laundering, but I'm good at my job and I have a passion for what I do, and I get good days off, which would be hard to get elsewhere in the same field.

My real name is Merle, by the way, I use this Jeremy monicker because it sounds stupid, and I find it funny, and because it helps me to think about myself and my life more objectively. My question is, should I try to stick with my job at least until my tax debt is paid off, or should I jump ship, in the hopes that I can get a job that is less competitive with more stable pay. The way I read it was that by recognizing the good also, you leave gracefully and in full recognition of why you are leaving and what you are leaving behind.

Exactly, the point is lowering the stress so that you can make better decisions and have a good panorama of the life you want to get. Remember that stress disables rational thought and makes us act out of a survival instinct. So the message is, zen down son that your moves become more gracious if that makes any sense. Do note, that it is not a suggestion to stay (or to go) bur rather a suggestion to stop, step back and look.

Yes, a premonition of another partner. However, like most spirit stuff, that's complicated by possibilities with the former partner.

Like most men, the danger I'm in is that men establish their lives around very few locii: their partner, their children, and their job -- and I have no children. This goes well if they exist, but because so few supports, losing any one of them leads to a complete system collapse such as you see in unemployed or divorced men. For example (and getting off the subject) if no locii for job, then why work here? Why not the next city/state? Why not Thailand? Why not an oil rig?
If no partner, then perhaps your future partner is in the next city over, and illogical to tie down to a job/apartment/friends here. See the point? They are interdependent. Being light and free to chase the buffalo is a powerful strategy but only if you have the tribe to come back to. Otherwise, you're a hobo.

So all three are a focus: This past person, that potential person, or some other focus. Thanks for asking, I don't want to impose on your valuable time.

Hey there Anna,

For you I used the Tarot since you have a general question about love.

Do you just happen to come out of a relationship not that long ago?

The first thing that I see is that you are yourself in a good position for a relationship but there are some things that you need to do. If you just ended a relationship then you need to move beyond it and make space for a new one within yourself by letting things go and processing what emotions remain. I recommend journaling for this latter, since this will help to feel whatever is left to feel without clinging to them.

Be careful in looking for relationships, being too open from the beginning and of giving yourself without merit, just for fun or out of a need for connection. They say that you need to gather yourself to make a pool of energy that you can let grow instead of diluting your energy too easy without giving it a time of gestation, so to speak so that you can grow stronger and practice aiming and shooting with precision.

It will take some work and patience, don't jump into relationships right now as it might lead to bad experiences. That doesn't mean to not explore however, just don't get tangled in them. Getting out and now people might be a good idea but don't proceed into physical or emotional intimacy right now until you've gotten a better perspective of yourself and of the terrain.

I may have an opportunity to travel to Europe with a friend in about a month, which is something I've always wanted to do. The catch is that I have some health issues that are aggravated by doing too much, and I'm starting graduate school at the end of August. I would have about 10 days between getting back and starting my program. I am trying to figure out how to balance these, and I am wondering if your divination could give me some insight.

I guess if I am forced to put it into question form, it would be something like "What will the situation be if I do indeed go to Europe with this friend?"

Wow! It's incredible how you reading nailed my situation... my partner left me four months ago... in that time, a colleague gave me a lot of attention, up to hugging and cuddling a lot of time. We both developed feelings eventually, but he cannot make up his mind about it, and is in an unclear relationship situation (reapproaching his ex), so I called it quits in the course of this last week.
