It seems to me that neither the previous partner or the one your are intuiting about are a clear "yes" situation. More generally, the advice for love life seems to be that you need to gather yourself and establish what is it that you want from a relationship.
It seems to me per your comment that you are looking for stability more generally and that you want someone that has enough of a footing that wont be wandering all about.
That said, it seems to me by the cards that you need to do a similar thing. I get some emotional pain and also too much rushing. Your relationships have made you strong but you have not found a place of equality in them. What the cards are telling me you need to get a safe place in romance is to balance yourself and take control of your life by your own means as much as possible.
One thing that is holding you back from finding a more meaningful and stable partner is looking within yourself and working on maturing your emotional life and on working upon the areas that are not attracting the right person for you. I know this sounds pretty standard advice but if you are not able to find a partner, it seems that now is the time to ask yourself why. There are many ways of doing it, for example, trying to create a picuture of yourself through journaling and getting to know what makes you tick and what strengths and weaknesses you have.
It also doesn't seem that it would take that long for you to find another partner, but right now it seems you need to rush less and once you are in the right state, you will find a partner that you can rest with.
