Fascinating! I had never heard of Dr. Grinberg, nor really much about Mexican shamans (beyond being told that Carlos Castaneda's books were likely largely works of fiction), so I look forward to learning more.

I haven't read any of his stuff yet, but Ervin Laszlo is another scientist that approaches the question of consciousness and how fundamental it is to reality, so you might find him interesting as well.
