Finally? Yes, finally! Sheez... I'm embarrassed that I owe you two apologies already. I suck immensely at managing my time, but it shouldn't come down to making it that obvious! All is well, just a tad hectic, and for divination, specially remote ones, I need quite a bit of time undisturbed. Thanks for asking! With that said, lets start.
It is already mid April so I will craft a two month spread for you. That way you can look back at the weeks just past for some clues and reference points as well as a look ahead. The way I have found useful for this readings is to first post my interpretation and then refine with you the details about it, should something need revision or if you have any questions.
Here is a picture of the spread:
And here you can find a hi-res version of the same image for your records.
The columns are the months and the first card is the theme of the month, the second one challenges or roadblocks of the month and the last one the possibilities of the month.
April Theme : Two of Wands . This card depicts a choice, a fiery one, since fire is the element of wands and that also corresponds with actions and adventure. The man, a successful one, perhaps a merchant looks at the horizon with a globe in his hand. A master of his world wonders what else can it be out there, but he also knows adventure doesn't come without risks and those risks often come also at the beginning in the form of dropping other things in order to set sail. That we can see in the other wand that is anchored to the wall. Since I don't know much about you nor your general situation I ought to be vague, but, have you found yourself in a situation like this in the two weeks that have passed? Perhaps, a new job or a move? This in particular is not necessarily a choice out of need, since the man in the card is quite well-off, but one out of the thrill of doing it.
Challenges : The King of Wands, Reversed The challenges regarding the theme are pretty straight forward. The need for adventure can easily turn and adventurous young merchant to impatience, arrogance and obstinance which are qualities of the Ruler of Fire, when he is turned upside down and can't rule. Be careful with how you direct your fire, so to speak, specially because this seems like something you really want to do so the potential for it to turn against you is high and an upside king of fire usually reacts angrily by dismissing responsibilities or failing to understand the doubts, worries or fears of others that don't share the same stance.
Possibilities : Seven of Pentacles, Reversed This one is a little bit tricky because it seems to go in a different direction than the others but it suggests that there will be a possibility of "getting back to work" so perhaps, if you manage to direct your actions and desire for something more and avoid the pitfalls of the difficulties of setting up an endeavor, an opportunity might open up. If you are indeed looking for a new job, or are looking to resume something that was left for a bit, it might be a good time to resume it. This last one is not very clear to me, so feel free to comment if it resonates with you, or not, along those lines since this card can have several meanings.
May Theme : Five of Pentacles, Reversed . Are you married or on a similar relationship in terms of responsibilities? I ask because I see that all of the cards on this month have a polarity, as in, both having men and woman. If not, this could be something else but I get a sense of another person in here. If you are married or have children, this could be about providing with generosity. If that is completely off --though that'd leave me scratching my head about the next cards-- this could be about relying on yourself rather than on others. Challenges : The King of Wands, Reversed . This card in its reversed state speaks about loosing harmony between polarities. Two things that used to be one, or were working together harmoniously rather, are coming apart. This could be based on something from the past or something recurring but that disharmony will be a challenge this month. Possibilities : The Tower, Reversed . There exist the possibility of a muted change. The tower in the picture is destroyed, shaken to its foundation by thunder (fire). This speaks about our foundation whether it be personal or collective. However, in its reversed form it means that this destruction will not be complete or will not be let to run its full course. A destructus interruptus if you will. This, depending on the other cards and how it manifests in your life, can be a good or a bad thing.
All the best and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.
