Rejoice! Well I am rejoicing, for I've recovered some of my peace of mind from the past nightmarish six months. So I am opening another one of this and this time I'll be doing it a bit differently. In the past it has taken me quite a while to get back to you with your readings and I noticed, and my oracle suggested too, that I should reply faster in order for the connection to remain fresher, and also... it's nicer of me. That said, divination is like weather forecasting not a tablet of truth handed down from above, so take the advice I give you through the reading as such. One of the sources of misunderstanding in divination is to overblow things because an "oracle" and all seeing eye said. There might be some intense readings, but by and large, given that most of us have ordinary lives, the readings have an ordinary tone. So keep that in mind, basically the tone of a readings matches, quite exactly in fact, the tone of the situation. So, say, the card Death doesn't mean the same in a situation about turning in a project as in another about a bedridden patient!

I'm very new to occultism, a newborn you could say but I'm reading everything on the JMG's blogs.
This is where I found your offer.
If it isn't too late and not too much bother could you answer a question of mine as well?
Here it goes:
Is the pursuit of occult something that's suitable for me?
As I said, I am very new to this but not without some "home made" basis for it. I just struggle with the decision a lot.

Sorry, as usual, my schedule spun into a chaotic and unpredictable situation and I couldn't get to your reading that day.

Here is a reading for you however:

Bad, tragic or inconclusive readings, by the way, are almost always done by so called diviners that have no idea what they are doing.

Having said that. Mmm. Well, the occult is a serious pursuit and has to be done with a degree of commitment. It doesn't have to be something very grave however. It seems to me that you are expecting too much from the occult work and that is clouding your decision.

Keep in mind also that occult work will probably make you feel a little alienated from anybody else.

Something that the cards are telling me however is that you have not a very well balanced attitude towards it and your ideas about it have been most likely been fed by things you've read online. Do not make the occult and obsession. The occult is like a lusis serious as the alchemist say, a serious game.

Fireworks will most likely not happen at the beginning and as a matter of fact, you might be really bored by practice at first! After all, drawing pictures in the air and meditating on themes while you keep your rump in a chair is not particularly entertaining. At first. Once you've learned your ABC's a world of wonder and magic, quite literally, opens up.

In the end however the decision is yours and neither me, nor the cards nor anybody --only you, can determine if the pursuit is worthy.
