Some time has passed so here is another divination offering. If you have a question, I'll be happy to use geomancy or the tarot about it. That said, divination is like weather forecasting not a tablet of truth handed down from above, so take the advice I give you through the reading as such. The conditions that divination taps into are also in constant flux, the same as atmospheric pressure and the Moon.

Instructions Please leave a little bit of background about your situation or, if you practice magic, or are up for an experiment do the following. Take note of the time and place where you are and leave it in the comments. Take a moment to put both your mind and and your body into the present moment, feel your weight, your thoughts and your environment, become present. Perform your banishing ritual if you have one, if not, an opening prayer is enough. Before you imagine a door with a sacred sign for you and the time and place of your location inscribed in golden letters. In your imagination, stand up, walk and open the door. You have entered my private divining room, and yes, it has multiple rooms and this one is just for you. In the room there is a table with a red cloth and a deck of cards. Focus on your query or situation and shuffle the cards there. Leave the deck for me to pick up and you can go out the door, close it and return to your body. Close with another banishing or closing prayer or clap once loudly.

Thanks for hosting another open tarot reading Open Space. I'm slowly making my way through the Dolmen Arch program and did do the SoP banishing and imaginal travel/shuffling prior to posting my question.

Background- My last romantic relationship, which went from 2018-2021, was one hellova ride and coming out of it, I feel older, a bit scarred and more cynical about future prospects. Looking back, I can see areas where I could definitely improve on, and since having more time to myself this January (after cutting off friendship with said ex), I've been focusing on addressing some of those weak spots. This included therapy, the octagon society, grounding more in feeling and practicing communicating more openly and emotionally with friends and family.

With that said, I had set a plan with myself to get out and date again come July/August of this year but I'm feeling a bit anxious as this gets closer. I don't know how much of it is trauma still hiding in my subconcious, worry that I may not find what I'm looking for (an eventual marriage partner) being I'm a mid 30s man or an intuition that I'd be better served postponing dating, working more and looking for additional career opportunities (given your November geomancy reading gave some indication I might lose my current job this year).

Question- If I begin dating this summer, what will my personal experience be like?

What you need to know about the Decline is that you should not close yourself off from other people. I got a lot of cards saying that you should, firstly, do not let your inner peace be disturbed and secondly try to become drawn into yourself but rather focus on being helped, asking for help and looking into what aspects of community you can bring into your life.

Also, something you should focus on is on the discipline of your spiritual practices.

Thank you very much for posting some context about your situation, it really does help me in crafting a spread for you, and also for doing the visualization exercise!

Something the Tarot is telling me is that your expectation for partners and a rigidity towards how your emotional healing should be is in the way of finishing the process of healing. However, it seems you've done a good job so far, but please do look for your emotions as you would take care of a child, so to speak. With self-love and patience. My Tarot says you should pursue, with this care and calm in mind, this emotional healing you've been doing with more devotion towards it. You drew The Star for this. Look up a black and white image of this and color it for yourself. Think, what does the symbols in the card tell me about how to heal? See how she is taking water out of pond and watering the land? What does that evoke in you?

For dating this summer, my Tarot suggests it is not a good idea. You drew Death, The Hermit and the Two of Wands reversed. It's a death end and you'll end up loosing your time. Focus instead in healing.

The relationship doesn't seem that it would be a productive one. My Tarot suggests that you are better off not having a relationship with her.

Thank you so much! The emphasis on keeping up with spiritual practices is pretty consistent with what I've been getting, and I suppose the emphasis on trying to maintain inner peace is as well - as I've been getting a lot of results that say something to the effect "you're not really ready, it's going to be rocky, but you'll learn/be better for it spiritually."

If you do have time for a follow-up, the emphasis on asking for/accepting help and bringing more community into my life is an interesting one, and less familiar from my own readings so far. I'd accept any help on wording this in a way more likely to yield a good answer, but something like "should I focus on my in-person community rather than remote?"

Thanks for the opportunity. My wife and I live outside of a major metropolitan city. We have been debating moving further into the rural area. As the problems of a progressive city keep creeping into our neighborhood.

The problem is that our business has fallen off of a cliff in 2023. We have some passive income (not enough to live on) and a sizable chunk of cash that we could invest (not enough for a debt free purchase on the type of property we would want). And of course there is the trauma of picking up and moving from a house we have grown to love.

We need some guidance on whether we should move, and if so, how?

Which Banishing Ritual

Thank you once again for your service. Here's my inquiry: I'm starting out with a correspondence course based on Gareth Knight's Experience of the Inner Worlds, and related texts. There doesn't appear to be an exclusive version of which banishing ritual to use, my tutors have told me not to obsess over which version to use, yet they encourage me to use Knight's version of the Ritual of the Pentagram from his A Practical Guide to Qabalistic Symbolism. This version is unusual in that it opens with the invoking form and closes with the banishing form. I personally would prefer to use the classic version of the LBRP, especially since I plan on incorporating both the Middle Pillar Exercise and the Rose Cross Ritual into my regular practice. I've dealt the deck as recommended in your exercise, do the cards indicate using the classic version of the LBRP, or Knight's version?

It's an attitude. My cards are telling me that you should try to move some of your unity of focus that is taking you to get lost in your inner world and try to become more open "drop yourself", so to speak. The personality is that, a persona, a mask. The cards are recommending to keep yourself nimble and flexible in your attitudes, judgements and positions. I don't happen to know if this is relevant but "increased activity" is something I get, in the sense of being caution and hesitant about things, but without straining.

For what is worth, my Tarot suggests that even though the coming iteration of the Decline will be tough and might delay some of your plans, it won't be life changing for you. Don't act on panic impulses and make plans for the long term and you should be fine. My Tarot is also saying that you are being a little bit pessimistic and that the way out of it is to quiet your mind and focus on things that make your imagination spring forth. Prepare as best as you can without becoming overly-prepped, plan ahead for this one, use it as an example for the next iteration of the Decline, but don't forget to get in touch with the fun and light side of things.

Also, we can review the "loosing of employment" reading. Remember that the currents divination tap and in constant flux and when you asked there were a lot of layoffs happening. If the currents have changed by now it can be different. It seems to be that your partner is looking very much forward into a relationship based on sharing things in a deep level and you are closed off and lost in your inner self. This mix of energies seems to be creating quite a bit of turmoil. My Tarot is recommending that you become more open and generous in your relationship, either emotionally or materially but either way it seems that it will take some work at a higher level to get things back on track.

Do you work too much? If you do, spending more time with her would make her happy. If that's not it. Then there is something else that is related to "moving into new territory" which is what would make he/her happy.

Don't try to win over arguments if those are happening and make yourself more flexible and "try" or at least pretend to understand the other persons stance. Be open and calm, show interest from the other persons stance as if it were yours, and things might improve.

A good reminder! I sometimes look at divinations a bit too... concretely/fixed. My company did go through a layoff wave from January-April and seems to have stabilized for the present (and I believe I asked my employment question back in November for what it's worth).

Hmmm, thank you much! My own readings have had a fair share of seeming doom and gloom, but maybe that's me putting too much on things. So, "lighten up, take yourself less seriously, and have some fun with others" seems to be the general direction I need to take things. Again, many thanks for your time and efforts!

Fun it won't be, that's for sure. But my Tarot suggests that it will be better than what you are expecting. It's a matter of degree I guess, you won't starve and not have a roof over your head.

Exactly, it's the attitude of resilience my Tarot is trying to instill, even in hard situations. Being stressed out is definitely not useful as higher order thinking gets shot off, for example.

It has recently become apparent to both me and my husband that I have a problem with alcohol. I've deeply hurt my husband by some of the things I have said when drunk and I have trouble not drinking too much once it gets started. So... my solution is to not start.

I have two careers, one is as an IT professional the other is a a magician. Given the BOVID situation I moved to countryside in mountains.

Now there is an IT crisis, and cannot longer work remote, also the community is either materialistic or Orthodox Christian so there is no place for the magician side?

It really depends on the subject, the question and the diviner. I've had divinations tap into currents that don't change for a lifetime and ones that have changed in a week. If whatever currents that triggered the initial layoff rounds have changed, it is possible that there is further guidance. At the moment, maybe you were at more risk than now, but let me ask the oracle and see. That's why I say divination is like weather forecasting, it's good to keep tabs open, especially for such important questions like that one! Predicating the future is kind of hard, you know :-) Especially when it hasn't materialized!
